I have a really good excuse tho. My Mom broke her foot yesterday and I spent the whole day with her, driving her to the hospital and sleeping in so she's not alone.

Plus, yesterday a pretty baby kitten that looks pretty much like Spooky was dying on my front door. I took him to the vet and he's doing better but he needs a lot of attention.

Next CRFH comic is scheduled for Thursday.

Edit: I updated the donation meter. Thank you very much for your generous donations! We're 2/3 of a whole month of updates, it seems! Small note, however: the REAL donation count has some extra cents in it. But the space in the meter is very limited so I'm leaving them out of the image, but not the real count. Thanks!

You might have noticed there were some server issues during the weekend. I spent a lot of time trying to fix them and I couldn't finish the strip on time. CRFH will update at some point during Monday.

Sort of. Apparently my medication didn't work on the lower dose. Still undiagnosed and I'm now wondering if I should switch doctors.

As for the other thing... well. You think you're gonna be fine and then something hits you again. I think... no, I KNOW I will be fine. But right now that seems so far away. I guess I'll just have to be patient.

Heads up, however... I'm going to try a pop-under campaign. My financial situation, while not desperate, is certainly going to change and I have to think of the future. Please be patient... CRFH will return Monday or Tuesday, for sures. Thank you very much for your generous donations and your emails of support. I love you all and I don't know what I'd do without you guys. I mean it.

You know, I feel EXACTLY like Dave right now.

Two days ago, the guy who was my husband for 9 years and my significant other for 16 years, proceeded to inform me that:

a) We were separating, because

b) He had been cheating on me for more than a year, and

c) Now he has a kid with the other woman.

Needless to say, I am devastated. But like Dave, I can't afford it. I have to think I can't simply give in to the emotions because I have to stay calm if I want to keep my arrhytmia under control.

So... yeah.

The schedule is, understandably, going to be a bit wonky while I sort out the massive changes that my life is going through. Thank you for understanding.

Still undiagnosed. Last week I was feeling somehow crappy, but fortunately now I'm starting to feel a little better.

I have been receiving reports of broken links aa over the site. I'm trying to fix it all but since the comic is my prority and I've been under the weather, work goes slow as molasses. I appreciate the reports tho because they help me go faster.

Health update

Still undiagnosed and going under tests. I wore a Holter monitor the day before yesterday and the results should be ready on Tuesday. I feel okay-ish because of the medicine in the meanwhile, but sheesh, the medical bills are MURDER. :(

I'm also working on a new, better archive system. The comics should all be fixed now, so if you find broken links in the archives or red x's please let me know!

Addendum: Email is back up! Also, I left Keenspot so don't report any glitches to the Keenspot guys. Rather, use the forum if you have an account, and if you don't, register, it's tons of fun.

Due to server changes, the site might be down or other glitches can be experienced.

Also, expect some broken links. I will be fixing stuff slowly but surely.

Well, I went to the doctor and of course he demanded tests. I'll keep you updated on the results, but I'm still on the undiagnosed side of things. I feel a little better after proper medication was administered, but of course I'm told to take it easy.

CRFH will still be running CRFH #1, and will be updating 5 days this week. We'll see how things progress about the tests.

I am *trying* to not get worried about this, but here it is:

On Friday, I went to the E.R. because my heartbeat was abnormally fast, and it bothered me enough to keep me awake at night. I was given an ECG and some medication, but they told me I need to go see a doctor about it. I'm doing that this week.

I really don't feel that quite well. At least I can sleep at night now, but this tachycardia thing bothers me all day. I'm very worried and scared, although I'm trying not to be.

CRFH will resume either Monday 24th or Monday 31th if everything goes okay. I'll be running a teaser for CRFH #1 in the meantime or I'll be having more news. Check back.

Photopaint is acting up. I suspect a virus, although it's hard to say. I'm gonna run a scan and if it keeps doing it I will have to reinstall it. Just a heads up. In case you don't see the strip at update time, it will probably be late or rescheduled.

Man, are my defenses in strike or something? I've been on and off sick since Christmas. In total, I think I have had more sick days than healthy days. :(
I feel like something Chtulhu ate for supper and crapped the next morning. Therefore, I'm skipping Friday, since I spent all day in a semi-comatose state. Sorry about this, and as you probably figured out, M-F is extended to March 12th.
Gotta crawl to bed now.

The meter is going to be updated very soon, but for now, an announcement. Our $1500 goal was met (with even a little to go into the next term!) and thus, CRFH will be going Monday through Friday, starting February 11th and finishing March 11th. The winner of the special DVD is going to get an email pretty soon too!

Sorry, guys, CRFH is gonna be late again. This time Corel Photopaint does this weird thing were everything works except the brushes. It's only fixed when I change workspaces and then get back, but of course it's a pain in the butt to work like that. I reinstalled the thing and will see if it's fixed.

I've been all week with a wicked cold. And this cold is wicked because it comes with a beautiful array of symptoms. Upset stomach, fever with shakytrembling fun, nose that alternates between clogged and runny, a throat that feels like a pineapple embedded with razors, itchy inner ears, icky stuff that you don't need details about, headache, an elephant-like cough, and the cherry of the pie is a case of freaking PINK EYE.

I have somethings in my agenda that I had planned for this week -included shipping- that I had to push back. As soon as I'm back on my feet I'll get to them.

Hi guys! I finally got my computer back today.

Only, guess what happened!

Box arrives, and I, madly springing forward, proceed to tear it out. My precious and beloved computer is connected. And then?

It wouldn't start.

No boot.

After blinking for a couple of minutes, I thought okay, these silly bastards just forgot to reinstall windows. No prob, I have my backup disks.

No go. There was no hard drive in the bios.

So I, while grinding my teeth together hard enough to get sparkly, proceed to calmly inform HP that my friggin computer wouldn't start. Then they walk me through all the verifications I had already done.

Then HP guy says: "Well, I guess you'll have to ship it back to us".

Me: ....

Me: Excuse me, what did you say?

HPG: We're going to send you another DHL box, and then...

ME: WHAT???!!!!!

I think he got scared or something, because he said

HPG: Uh, how many days did it take to return to you?

Me: TEN DAYS <--- voice that could freeze hell

HPG: Uh well, the safest thing to do is that, we, we have to take a look and...

I plainly told him that I was going to "think about it" but I had no intention to do that.

I opened the goddamn case and there it was, one of the HD buses was loose. If I opened it and found out there was no hard drive, well, then I guess I would have had to buy a new hard drive. But still, no sending boxes ever EVER just no.

So computer is here and I have a BAZILLION Things To Catch Up On but still I'm pretty sure CRFH will be back on Monday.

Also shame on you guys because no one remembered CRFH's anniversary, 9 years on January first. You sleep on the couch, haha.
