IMMINENT SYSTEM FAILURE
I think LJ went AFU for a whole day.

Anyway, yesterday was my birthday. I'm so OLD. 30 years is so old.

Yesterday hubby told me Bah, you don't look a day over 22.

And I told him WHAT? I used to not look a day over 12!!!

*curls up, sobs*

I'd say 22 is hotter than 12, so you should perhaps be pleased that your looks have matured :P

I would have said 20...but if it helps I am turning 30 the 27th.

I should note that if you did "not look a day over 12," you and your husband would probably get odd looks every time you kissed in public. So it does have certain advantages.

You're not thirty, you know. You're still twenty-nine. You've celebrated one anniversary of your twenty-ninth birthday.

By the time anniversaries get to birthday years, you'll be able to say what your age is again.

Age is relative. I would kill to be 30 again. Hell, I'd maim just to be 40 again.
But at 50, I don't feel old, except when I do lots of work and my muscles complain. Even then, it's not age I feel, it's just the betrayal of the body.

At 30, you're still young, healthy, capable of anything. Enjoy and take advantage of 30. Do all the things you'd like to do now that you won't be able to do when you ARE old.

30 is young. You're young. Celebrate life. Happy Birthday. :)

Don't worry now, we have a nice spot reserved for you at the home. Lots of happy pills to enable you to drool the days away. Don't struggle now, or the happy men in coats will have to roll your wheelchair in the corner.

All sillyness aside, your heart makes ya young. At 37, I don't feel old. My parents in their 60s dont feel old. My grandmother also said she didnt feel old in her 80s.

You are Beautiful, young, and active.

Be thankful, and enjoy every moment, My mother has Benn bound to a wheelchair since she was 35, because of MS. that is 20 years in a wheelchair.

looks are less important than being able to enjoy your life, the way you want to without the help of others to do common simple things to help you...

so buck up, give thanks that you can and forget about looking like a 12 year old, I hope that you have not acted like a 12 year old lately, the only time you should want to look 12 is when you are 10, and you are not 10...
