Excuses pretty excuses
Well, I could tell you a lot of things, like
a) It's a national holiday down here
b) I'm going under minor surgery at some point next week (don't ask, it's girly and thus embarrassing stuff, also UGH BILLS)
c) I really need a break right now
d) "Under" is finished
e) Photopaint went SNAFU on me
f) All of the above.
Actually it's f) but c) would be enough. CRFH returns on September 22, hopefully, and entirely depending if it's safe for me to work.
I'll probably be posting some art and stuff. I have decided that's it for Photopaint for me. Time to learn photoshop so I'll be posting some experiments, perhaps.

Use this to find some tutorials for it as you're probably going to be using the latest version (CS3): http://www.google.com/search?q=photoshop+cs3+tutorials

You may want to bookmark it for later use. I'd upgrade (I have CS), but it's $200 -average- just to do that here in the US. (If anyone can prove me wrong about the price, email me {ketira at gmail dot com} with the link - and put "PS CS3 Upgrade" in the subject line so I can remember what you're talking about.)

Product-wise, however - it's great software for doing lots of neat things. ;>

Man, a lot of the ladies I know/know of/live with seem to getting minor surgery defined as "girly"... my Lady's also getting something like that.

I'm tempted to say, afterwards, we should gather everyone who's had such surgery and basically provide a full level pampering. :)

I'll keep my fingers crossed for you. Rest well.

We aren't paying to view your comic; your health and happiness are more important than us viewing an update. Please enjoy your break.

I know the strain “female” surgeries put on people; both my aunt and mother have had to have D&C procedures. In fact, they each had to have more than one. It wasn't fun, but their health did improve, and they've each had worse procedures

GIMP is great, sans a few problems with drawing geometric shapes and the way it saves lettering, but I'm still using 2.2, and they're up to 2.4. They may have fixed them. There are supposed to be scripts that will give these functionality, but I've yet to try to install any.

I hope you have a restful break; and that your procedure is completed with the minimal of inconvenience. I look forward to September 22.

Surgeries ...

I had to have a "girly" surgery on 4/26/06 and it kept me in hospital 3 days and then almost a month to recover ... I hope yours is less difficult on you (I have fibromyalgia, so that slows my healing and increases my pain levels).

We'll still be here when you get back. *hugs*
