Hey guys. It's horribly late, but here: the fourth installment of the Missing in Action fics.

As usual, it's beyond 2000 words and has two pics.

If you guys want the rest of the chapters, go visit the store! It's been revamped.

So yeah, slowly working my way around it. Still a lot of things to do about the website (s). I updated The Casual Webcartoonist last night, by the way, too.

To my horror, I realized that I never came around to uploading a new chapter of MIA, and of course, it was because the illos are not done. Shame on me! In the meantime, those of you who have not read the first chapter of "Notebook", click on the link to get it! Notebook is a story about Dave in high school. Notebook (Chapter 01)

From the site, that is. I'll keep updating LJ, but it's no longer gonna be embedded in CRFH.net. Sorry folks, I've got three sites now, and paying $75 to ocasionally put blurbs of text is a bit much to me.

Check it out! Doomies updated today. Schedule's gonna be Tuesday and Friday.
THAT KABOOM!

That's what I've been wondering, since I decided to start another comic. Check it out.

It's going to run on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Don't worry, it's not going to replace CRFH.

Well, 2009 is a goner. I hope you guys had a good time waving it goodbye.

I hope you're enjoying the rescripts. Remember, CRFH will be back on the 12th.

And maybe there will be something ELSE to enjoy. Huhuhuh. I'm being mysteeeeerious. :D

I've been quite the busy bee these days. Hopefully it'll show.

Ookay so.... yeah. My vacation started on Monday. I guess I did forget to mention it.

Scheduled return of CRFH will be, most surely, on January 12th.

But I'm going to be posting comics. Well, not new. I'm going to be posting outtakes. You know, rescripts that are out of canon but nonetheless amusing.

Depending on the response I get this might be a new permanent feature of CRFH.net.

Also, before this weeks ends, I'm going to be posting the 4th chapter of MIA. So keep checking!

In the meantime, Missing in Action!

Sorry about the delay in the updates, I've been either dealing with close family medical crisis or out of town. CRFH will be updated tonight!

In the meantime, you can go look at one of my friend's webcomic.

So "20 Plus" ends like that. Yeah you say, "well, where the heck is Friday's strip" and I say "what is Friday?"

No seriously, I apologize. Yesterday was my birthday and stuff. So I took today's off as well. Shameless, I know.

Anyway, we start on Monday a new storyline! Like I said, Year 2 is starting. If you know what I'm talking about, okay. If you don't, it's not that important.

So it's back to school for the guys and gals. Are we going to see some *gasp* COLLEGE strips? I dunno! Hahaha, that's ridiculous!

Anyway I'm still working on Chapter 3 of MIA, so stay tuned. If you want to read the first two chapters, here they are!

About today's strip:

So this is the new, special short storyline I was talking about. It's set 20 years in the future. DUN DUN DUNNNNNN!!!!

It's going to last 2 weeks. Also, probably a different drawing style. I hope it turns out right! This storyline was based on an idea by Agent Vargas, the boardie who won the auction for, you know, the storyline thingie.

Anyway fasten your seatbelts, it's going to be quite a ride!

Hey guys! And so "Blink" ends. I'm taking a few days off, but CRFH is expected to resume next Wednesday with a special short storyline! (you'll see)

You can still, however, order the first chapter of Missing in Action! Missing in Action is a CANON fiction story by myself, 2000+ words, including 2 pics. It covers the aftermath of Dundun Island after Mike wakes up the second time and whatnot.

I forgot to post a schedule for the chapters of MIA. I'm guessing the new chapters will be released every Monday. However this week I'll be away from home a bit.

By the way, guys, if someone is in Mexico City and wants to attend, I'll be participating in a round-table in the Book Fair of the Zocalo.

Saturday at noon! And afterwards I'll be in the presentation of the new Bulbo book by Bachan. http://www.produccionesbalazo.com/

It seems like the mexican webcomic scene is waking up with a bang! AWESOME.

(for those of you wondering, yeah, I'm going to fix crfh.com.mx ASAP)

Today it was my parents' 40th anniversary. This was my gift.

http://www.crfh.net/other/momanddad.jpg

On other stuff, I reposted this from the forums. Feel free to post your opinion here or on Twitter as well.

So, feedback on this idea!

The "fiction" extras on the last CD were VERY well received. And so I thought that perhaps I could simply start selling bits of fiction.

The CRFH universe is vast and there are literally hundreds of stories buried in there that I can't possibly address in comic form without straying from the main storyline (which already has a hard time trying to mantain a decent pace). However, fiction is quicker to make than comics. I could do these in text, perhaps throw an illustration or two to spice it up.

The thing is, I wouldn't charge a lot for it. I was thinking a couple of bucks. But I have no idea how long would this stories, or chapters be for it to be a fair price. 2000 words? 10 pages? What?

Don't be afraid to throw in your personal estimation of how much fiction you'd expect to receive for 2 dollars.

Do you guys think this sort of thing would sell? I know many comic readers dislike prose.

Aaand the Jester hits on the truth without even knowing it!

New strip. Sorry for the delay. Also sorry for the waaaaaall of text. Hopefully these strips will clarify some things.

Heads up, boardies! The message boards will be going into maintenance this weekend. I will de-activate them at some point, move them to another server, and activate them agan hoping they don't explode.

If you have any CRITICAL data on them or on your PMs, now it's the time to save it. Things should go smoothly, but you know how these things are. You simply never know.

Wish me luck.

I know what you're thinking, so I'll just say it... this whole "coma sequence" is over. I know I must look like the laziest cartoonist in the world, but had I actually drawn the scenes the meaning would have been unclear. If Dave is in a coma and has his eyes closed, he can't see the scene, right? But he can recognize the voices, thus the color codes.

In case you were confused by the color code, Mike was green, Roger was yellow, Marsha was hot pink and Margaret was brown.

Also, it bears repeating: I have shipped everything. All the USB flash drives, and all the rest. If you ordered something, it's on your way!

This was a pretty crazy week in the wonderful world of webcomics... Tycho of Penny Arcade had a new baby girl, and PAX had the POX, I mean... swine flu. Scott Kurtz and Kris Straub and Gabe and God knows who else got it. So well wishes and a speedy recovery, you all. You had us worried for a minute there.

By the by! You still have a few hours to bid and pick the new CRFH storyline!

I'm still stuck in the colorful, wonderful carousel that is bureaucracy and stuff. Things are slowly going to be dealt with on all fronts.

I just noticed that the Shortpacked! frontpage has a default PW ad that leads to CRFH. David Willis is simply awesome! Go visit http://www.shortpacked.com because it's mad funny and has evil Mikes too.

Addendum: I'm auctioning the chance to decide what's the next CRFH storyline gonna be about. Don't miss out! http://maritzacampos.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=852

I know, I know. This week I fell off the face of Earth. I'm late doing comics, catching up on email, catching up with everything else, etc.

I will try to slowly get back to all of you who have inquired things via PM, email, or twitter this week. I hope I can get the schedule back to normal too. Please hang in there.

What happened was that yeah, the bank said screw you, you gotta pay *all* the money that was lost. So this week I have been either making phone calls or going to the bank or going to several government offices trying to reverse the process.

Like I said, it's something like $1000, and I finally had to fork it over, and all I'm doing is to see if I can get back at least a part. From what they tell me, I have very little chances.

I hate it all and I just want to curl up in a ball and vanish.

*sigh*

On better news, if you ordered one of the Chesters, it will DEFINITELY be shipped to you this next week. Apparently they are being shipped to me as we speak.

If you didn't, but you wish you had, in the next days I'm going to take an informal preorder, like a signed petition. If enough people sign the petition I'll make another batch. Like I said, it's a very high-risk investment so I'm only doing this if I'm absolutely SURE.
